Additional info

The cozy new unique historical Baikal-Alaska Hotel opened its doors on February 29, 2024. It is located in the Polyana Park, a natural park, and the tourist center of Irkutsk. The distance to the railway station is 5 km, to the airport 11 km. Guests can stay in one of the 73 rooms. The rooms differ in category, area and location by floor. Each room has a TV, a safe, free Wi-fi, air conditioning, a comfortable bathroom with a shower cabin and shower accessories. The apartments are equipped with a kitchen. All rooms on the second floor have balconies, and the rooms on the first floor have a separate entrance from the street, and a terrace area for a comfortable stay in nature. For hotel guests, there are 10 sports facilities in the park, such as volleyball, football, wakeboard, paintball; sports equipment rental, five Russian baths on the shore of the Angara with fonts; various types of massages, a resto-bar Kayut-Kampaniya on the water. The hotel is located in a natural park, equipped with walking paths and territory lighting at night and in the evening. The hotel stands right on the banks of the Angara River, along which there is a wooden embankment and a place for a bonfire. By the embankment on the water there is a gastro-bar Kayut-Kampaniya with Siberian and European cuisine, breakfasts and delicious teas. The gastro bar overlooks the beautiful Arboretum Park. The feeling of a country breakfast on the water doubles the taste of the dishes offered, and enhances the feeling of relaxing in our park hotel. The history of this modern hotel, made using advanced technologies, began....more than two hundred years ago. The fact is that the idea of its creation appeared on board the expedition, which for the first time in two centuries followed the path of Irkutsk pioneer merchants in 2007-2019. The team covered 15,470 km from Irkutsk to Sitka in Alaska, seeing a huge territory striking in beauty. Upon returning, we decided to tell about the great history of Irkutsk province through a themed hotel - showcase of all the territories of the route. And they also did it according to the ancient merchant traditions – by combining the efforts and investments of many Irkutsk entrepreneurs. Each building of the hotel and each room has the name of a geographical place, a point of the Baikal-Alaska expedition travel route. Our guests can also, like travelers, take this route by staying in each room.
